John Leonard Holt is a graduate of the MFA program at Antioch University Los Angeles and is a 23 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served 9 years overseas and has served in the Middle East.

His poetry has been published in Acorn, Frogpond Journal, The Heron’s Nest, Simply Haiku, Magnapoets, Sugar Mule Literary Magazine, Icebox, Mainichi Daily News, Asahi Haikuist Network (The Asahi Shimbum) and other journals.
